Dr Rachel Manning

Rachel has been a registered Specialist in Periodontology since 2000. Rachel graduated from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1987 then studied for a PhD in the early 1990’s in Cariology. Following this was clinical experience in practice and Oral Surgery junior posts. Rachel trained at The Eastman Dental Hospital {UCLH} and was a Lecturer there from 1994 to 1999 when she became a Specialist Registrar in Restorative Dentistry. With a broad base not only in Periodontology but also in Restorative Dentistry, Rachel is happy to accept referrals for patients with periodontal problems as well as those requiring complex treatment planning and care within restorative Dentistry.

Rachel caries out all types of periodontal treatment including periodontal surgery, crown lengthening, soft tissue surgery grafting and regenerative procedures. Rachel has been placing and restoring dental implants for 20 years and welcomes referrals for implants.

Rachel has taught both undergraduates at KCL and post graduates at The Eastman, she is keen to encourage young dentists to expand their skill set and likes to keep learning.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys time with her family, walking, cycling and is a qualified ski instructor.
