Alexandra Dental has invested in the Aquacut technology. With this there is no need for local anaesthetics or drills. Minimal surface cavities can be opened, cleaned and shaped for a filling using this equipment.

The machine works just like jet-washing your car or patio, by using pressurised water with infused powder (air abrasion) it is able to remove damaged enamel, decay and clean the tooth gently.

After the tooth is prepared a composite filling can be bonded and shaped to the tooth using etch, water and lights.
